Despite the mucky weather, it has been a good week of progress at Jemiggy.
We have had a simple holding page in place for quite some time but haven’t really known what to start with, in terms of building what will eventually be a complex website, with all the bells and whistles.
Fundamentally, what we need first is something to speak to you and let you know what’s happening but also to get your feedback on various stages of development.
We are hoping to get your help with surveys, polls and opinions as we develop, as ultimately it will be your product.
The initial website is on its way and should be with you this week!
The main product also started the concept development phase this week. There is a long way to go and we are conscious that the cost of living pains are still on-going, so selling something new right now, that is not an essential, is not the right time, but brighter days are on the horizon…. They have to be!
So, we will be asking for your input to make decisions as we go and aim to bring you a product in 2024 that you will love, trust and want to use!
I have had my own business since 2010, separately to Jemiggy, so I am familiar with the ups and downs of starting and running a business but this is a whole new thing for me and very outside of my comfort zone. I can play with numbers as much as anybody needs but product development, marketing and co-ordinating all of the moving pieces is very different to a service based company based on something I know about.
There will be ups and downs and that is part of the journey but I do hope you will keep us company through the rough and the smooth of making this idea come to life!
