Welcome to Jemiggy!
We are a brand new way to travel with your dog and I want to take you on the journey of our set up through to the fruition of our new venture.
I am Juliette – the human – and Tiggy is the photogenic one you can see in the picture. This isn’t just another dog pictures site, but I have to admit, I find her very cute so she will pop up a lot!
I had a dog before Tiggy – Jemima – also a springer spaniel and they are dogs that love getting out and about. I try to make their walks as interesting as possible but I am also a solo pet owner and it gets hard to find that easy place to get to, where you know as a human you will be able to also get refreshments and not have the worry of leaving your dog in a hot car or your nervous pup behind, while you walk away out of sight.
I found I was sticking to the less imaginative routes because I didn’t want to have to think about whether I could stop for anything I needed to do.
The idea for Jemiggy popped into my head as a way to know I could go somewhere and know that there was a safe spot to put my little pup, while I did a few of the things I need to do – saving time and opening up opportunities for more exciting walk locations.
In July 2022 the company was set up and the idea was starting to form.
After months of thinking through all of the variables we are now making a start on bringing this idea to life.
I want to take you on the journey with me to get this exciting new way to be a dog owner in place and help you on your travels with your four legged friend too.
We are now on the journey to design and develop the product and would really love to get your feedback on the things you would find helpful and key considerations, to make Jemiggy work for you.
